Can I re-use a Cipher for a different hire?

You can, and for roles you hire repeatedly it saves a lot of time. See Why should I use a Cipher?

Before you re-use a Cipher, check that it still describes the role:

Is the Charge the same? A new company state or phase often changes it.
Is the Outcome still the number one change you need, in the same timeframe?
Are the Deliverables still the five to seven most critical accountabilities?
Does the new hire report to a different manager, or lead a different team?

If the answer to any of these is no, treat it as a new role and build a new Cipher.
