Dealerships, clinics, distribution centres: whole categories of hiring run face to face, in a back office at whichever site the candidate can reach. There is no video call to record. The wifi in the service building drops. And a laptop on the desk between two people changes the conversation, so most interviewers skip the tools and work from a printed sheet.
The cost lands later. No transcript. No evidence against the role definition. A write-up from memory, an hour after the candidate left, if it happens at all.

Recording, the question loop and the rating all run on the phone. Native capture keeps going through screen lock, incoming calls and a dead spot in the building. Nothing leaves the phone until HireBest confirms every part arrived intact. Then the interview appears in HireBest as if it had happened at your desk: the transcript, who said what, and the evidence lined up against the cipher.

The wrap-up flows into the cipher rating, on the same 1 to 4 scale the web app uses. Speak your evidence instead of thumb-typing it. You score while the conversation is still in your head, and the debrief starts from evidence.

One question at a time, in large type. Swipe to advance. The briefing, the chapters and the opening and closing scripts travel with the interview, so every candidate gets the same one. “Mind if I read my notes off my phone?” is a question candidates say yes to without thinking.
