Data retention and deletion

Customer and candidate information is retained while the customer account is active or as needed to provide HireBest. The public privacy notice explains what happens after account closure or a valid deletion request, including exceptions and the treatment of backup copies.

Customer action

Customer organizations decide how long candidate information should remain in their hiring records, subject to their policies and applicable law. A candidate should normally direct an access, correction or deletion request to the organization that is handling their application.

Mobile recordings

An in-person recording remains on the recording phone until HireBest confirms that the upload arrived and was verified. If it is still waiting to sync, do not uninstall the app or remove its data. Once verified, the local copy is removed according to the product process.
